I'm glad to present you the new version of my Battlefield Smoke Mod. It has taken a long time to finish this. But i think the end result is worth a try. I have made some fixes (to bright fire effects for instance) and added new effects you'll like.

This version also should not work perfectly with other mods, that changes the following db files:
- projectile_tables
- projectile_impacts_tables
- projectiles_explosions_tables
- particle_effects_tables
If you are using such a mod you will surely miss some effects or the mod won't work. If you have a request for me to make this version compatible to other mods, please let me know and i will do what i can.
You need LtChambers fantastic Mod Manager to get this mod to work. This is surely the safest method to run the BSM without any troubles. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So what's new this time?
First, the smoke mod is not compatible with the bloodmod standalone! So use either the BSM or the Bloodmod!
Please get sure you load BSM above all other used mods to get it to work.
This time there is no video introducing BSM 4.1 (yet). I have made one, but Youtube has blocked it, because i used musics youtube won't show. I will upload it to Peacekeep3r and he will either try his luck on youtube or upload it to filefront or something else.

Changes with 4.1:
Battlefield Smoke Mod full Version 4.1 (Includes the entire pack of mods, except Soundmod. needs Mod Manager)
Improvements:
- new smoke textures for muskets, cannons and building destruction
- changed musket smoke color
- enhanced explosions
- better naval cannonfire from far distance
- added fire and smoke after ship explosion
- more dense and moving smoke on building destruction
- reworked blood effects
- reworked ground fire after explosive shell hit
- added canister and shrapnel trails
- added roundshot trail for naval cannons
- new fuse smoke on landguns
Fixes:
- brightness of ground fire adapted
- Smoke illumination eleminated
- Fire on ships is brighter now
- carcass fire brightness adapted
The rar archive contains 2 mod files.

Improvements:

- enhanced explosions
- better naval cannonfire from far distance
- added fire and smoke after ship explosion
- reworked blood effects
- reworked ground fire after explosive shell hit
- added canister and shrapnel trails
- added roundshot trail for naval cannons

Some effects are not included in the Light Version, because it's a too heavy loss for the fps.

Installation!
First, make sure, you have no other, older Version of Battlefield smoke mod or Blood mod installed.
Winrar is needed to extract files from *.rar archive.
You can get it here: http://www.win-rar.com/
You need also LtChambers Mod Manager: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=240335
The mod is compatible with LtChambers excellent Mod Manager. Just extract the modfile into your ">your steam folder<\steam apps\common\empire total war\data" folder and activate it with the Mod Manager.
