VISUAL ENHANCEMENT
I'm the official portraits maker of TATW and I found some elements of the 2D art of the mod lacking, since KK and the rest of the team will be occupied with bugs, fixes, balancing and other more important stuff I decided to make some changes to a few 2D aspects of the mod. This is not intended to be a solo project, everyone with some graphics experience, specially those with image enhancement experience or that have experience making screenshots, can make their contributions or just give suggestions or feedback. So if you have talent you can try to improve other 2D elements of the mod that were not developed like unit info cards and event pics making this a better and unique mod for everyone.
PORTRAITS
Various portraits I made weren't included in this first release, for lack of time I suppose. I will be implementing them directly from now on so you won't have to wait till the next patch or release to have them.
This release includes the northmen portraits (no vanilla portraits for Dale, Eriador or Rohan), aged portraits for Gondor and Northmen, dead portraits, captain portraits, wife portraits, new unique portraits and advisor for elves. Portraits can be seen here.
Further releases I will increse the number of portraits for Rhûn/Harad, Dwarves and Orcs. Keep in mind that I try to get as many portraits as possible so there will be a few that are not as good as the rest, you can delete them and replace with the ones you do like.
People can help by making suggestions of movies that have potential as a resource for new portraits. These are the backgrounds for the cultures, if you want to submit some portraits you can use them.

SCREENS
The overall visual appeal of this mod is really high, but the creens bother me.
This release includes a new splash screen, menu screen and new loading screens made by John Lennon. (loading bar made by me)

Further releases I will make loading screens with frames from the actual mod
People can help by giving feedback and posting unique screenshots they made and want it to be a loading screen.
Planned additions:
-Unit info cards of Dale and of some other faction have nothing special, I will try to make them more unique.
-Building cards are mostly vanilla and I will try to make new ones based on Rogue's.
-Event pictures are mostly vanilla and I will try to make new ones.
-Mordor's faction icon needs to be redone, I will see what I can do.
Installation: extract it to your Medieval II folder and overwrite the files (note: this will overwrite your descr_strat.txt file, it's better to make a backup of your files)
Update may 4: Allmods file includes new northmen portraits, reworked names for Eriador and Dale (credit to Hyperion and Hross), new and modified custom portraits, dead portraits for dwarves, elves, gondor, old portraits for gondor, new advisor for elves, new captains.
Update May 6: Visual enhancement file includes new portraits and new screens aswell as reworked names for Eriador and Dale (credit to Hyperion and Hross) and proper aging generals (credit to Sohn des Khaine).
