The Eras Total Conquest mod allows the player to start their campaign at one of 9 different times, these are 1080, 1200, 1230, 1300, 1346, 1400, 1453, 1500, and 1547. Each campaign contains different factions, faction start positions, and levels of technology.

Eras Total Conquest Installation Guide

This mod is for Kingdoms and it is strongly recommended that you upgraded to the 1.5 version of Kingdoms to prevent some factions from suddenly being destroyed when their faction leader dies.

The current version is the 1.5.1 version.

0) Download the three parts of this mod from http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=2213 and unpack it using 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/).

1) Put the conquest 1.5.7z.001, conquest 1.5.7z.002, and conquest 1.5.7z.003 in the same folder.

2) Right click on the 'conquest 1.5.7z.001', select '7-zip' on the pop-up menu, then select 'Extract Here'. 7zip will unpack all three files. If you have problems extracting these files you can download the whole mod as one file here http://depositfiles.com/en/files/opie1pxqq .

3) After being unpacked you will have a 'data' folder, 'mods' folder, 'conquest XP.bat', 'conquest VISTA.bat', and 'conquest.cfg'. These all need to be put into the Medieval II Total War directory (default location 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War'). If asked if you want to overwrite several files and folders click 'yes' or the mod won't install properly.


To start the mod double click on the 'conquest XP.bat' or 'conquest VISTA.bat'; this will bring up the Eras Menu. Select the campaign you want to play (type either 'A', 'B', 'C', 'D', 'E', '1', '2', or '3' and press 'enter').

If the Eras Menu closes after loading the files but the mod doesn't start then double click on the 'conquest.bat' and on the Eras Menu type '0' (zero).

How to uninstall Eras Total Conquest

To uninstall this mod delete the 'Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest' folder (default location 'C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest'), and the 'Medieval II Total War\data\ui\shared.sd' and 'Medieval II Total War\data\ui\strategy.sd' files.

1.6 Patch

These patches are designed for the 1.5.1 version. They are not save game compatible.

I've fixed some bugs and added units from XVII Century, Tzardoms, Broken Crescent, and Ming Dynasty mods to this mod. The main changes have been to the Middle Eastern, Indian, and East Asian factions. I have also added the 970 campaign from Eras Total Conquest to this mod and more faction symbols.


To install download the conquest patch 1.6.7z file, unpack it, and put the 'conquest' folder in the 'Medieval II Total War\mods' folder (default location "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods").

To play the 970 campaign you'll need to download the 'conquest patch.rar' attached to this post, unpack it, and put the .bat file in the 'Medieval II Total War' folder (default location "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War").


1500 Bug fix

Due to an error in the descr_character.txt the 1500 campaign does not load. To fix this download the '1500.rar' attached to this post, unpack it, and put the '1500' folder in the 'mod\conquest\data' folder (default location "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data"). Overwrite the existing files.

1453 Bug fix

Due to an error in the descr_character.txt the 1453 campaign does not load (the same error as the 1500 campaign). To fix this download the 'new_age.rar' attached to this post, unpack it, and put the 'new_age' folder in the 'mod\conquest\data' folder (default location "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\conquest\data"). Overwrite the existing files.

1500 & 1547 Bug fix

Due to an error in the 'historic_events.txt' the 1500 and 1547 campaigns may not load. To fix this download the 'history.rar' attached to this post, unpack it, and put the 'mods' folder in the 'Medieval II Total War' folder (default location "C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War"). Overwrite the existing files.

물론 쿠사나기 쿄이오리님께서 올려주신 모드도 잘 수정된 모드지만, 그 원본이 된 모드도 많은 업데이트가 행해졌으니 소개하는게 좋겠죠.
