Please try all four of these steps before launching the game again and see if we can get you going:
1. Run the Visual C++ redist setups again. They can be found here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\redist\ or your equivalent directory (varies according to OS)

작성자 HaJae^^; 작성자 본인 여부 작성자 작성시간13.12.20 2. Delete or rename the Rome 2 folder. This can be found by typing %appdata% in any Windows Explorer navigation bar then hitting enter. Navigate to The Creative Assembly folder and delete or rename the Rome 2 folder.
3. Verify the integrity of your game cache. Right click on Total War: Rome 2 in your Steam library and click Properties. Then navigate to the local files tab and click "Verify integrity of game cache...". This ensures your version of Rome 2 is exactly the same working version that appears on the server.

Please double check to make sure you have the latest system drivers, especially for your graphics and sound cards.
