throat는 목구멍 즉 식도를 말하고 편도선(tonsil)은 사람의 입속 양쪽구석에 하나씩 있는 평평하고타원형인 임파선(lymphatic gland)을 말한다.
된가래는 thick sputum, 피석인 가래는 bloody phlegm로 표현한다.

대답은 물론 Yes I have. 혹은 No I havent식으로 하면된다.
★ Catch (get) a cold는
“감기들다/걸리다”를 말하는 상태의 변화를 이야기 하는 것이고,
have a cold는 “감기가 걸려있다”는 상태를 말하는 표현이다.
★ “의사에게 진찰받다”는 뜻의 영어는 See a doctor 이다.
★ make an appointment 는 “예약을 하다”
have an appointment 는 "예약을 해놓은 상태“를 의미한다.
★ prescription은 처방전이라는 뜻인데
의사가 처방한 약(medicine which a doctor orders for you) 이라는 뜻도 있다.
그러니까 take this prescription은 “이 처방약을 먹으라”는 뜻이다.
★ 체온을 얘기 할때 우리나라는 “섭씨(Centigrade)”를 사용하지만
외국에서는 “화씨(Fahrenheit)"를사용한다.

★ 중환자는 Intensive care Patient로 가능하지만 문어적인 표현이며,
회화에서 중환자는 Patient who is serious case

심장계통
눌러오는 듯 아프다. The pain feels heavy, crushing.
밤에 자다가 숨이 차서 일어난다.
