Position: Junior Interior Designer & Office Administrator

Department: Construction / Project Management
Employment Type: Temporary, Hourly (Full-time hours available depending on project needs)
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

About the Role
We are seeking a temporary team member to support our construction and renovation projects. This position will primarily assist with producing and updating AutoCAD drawings, coordinating project documents, and providing general administrative support to the construction team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities
AutoCAD & Technical Support
• Prepare, revise, and maintain project drawings using AutoCAD
• Convert field measurement data into accurate drawings
• Update layouts for store renovation, equipment installation, and contractor coordination
• Support project managers with documentation of technical changes and drawing control

Administrative Support
• Maintain project files, schedules, and documentation
• Assist with coordination between contractors, vendors, and internal departments
• Prepare meeting notes, reports, and simple correspondence
• Support procurement of materials, quotation comparison, and document tracking
• General administrative tasks assigned by the construction/project manager

Qualifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (1–3 years experience preferred)
• Experience in construction, interior design, or facility management is an asset
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to interpret drawings
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Eligible to work legally in Canada

Working Conditions
• Temporary hourly employment  with potential extension based on project needs
• On-site work may be required depending on project schedules
• Hourly rate to be determined based on experience
