지난밤의 평안한 쉼과
새로운 아침의 은혜를 허락하심에 감사드립니다.
오늘도 제 마음에 인내를 채워 주시고,
제가 하는 모든 일이
주님을 위한 것임을 기억하게 하소서.
특별히 오늘은 현충일입니다.
조국의 자유와 평화를 위해
고귀한 생명을 바친 순국선열과 호국영령들을
감사한 마음으로 기억합니다.
그들의 용기와 헌신,
그리고 이웃과 나라를 위한 희생을
결코 잊지 않게 하소서.
주님,
그들의 희생을 단지 기념하는 데 그치지 않고
정직과 책임, 사랑을 실천하는 삶으로
그 뜻을 이어가게 하소서.
선조들이 지켜낸 자유와 평화를
더욱 굳건히 지켜 나갈 지혜를 주시고,
정의와 평화를 사랑하며
감사와 겸손으로 이웃과 나라를 섬기는
백성이 되게 하소서.

Thank You for the rest and peace of last night
and for the grace of this new morning.
Fill my heart with perseverance,
and remind me that whatever I do today,
I do for You.
On this Memorial Day,
we pause to remember with gratitude
the noble sacrifice of those who gave their lives
for our nation, our freedom, and our peace.
May we never forget their courage,
their devotion,
and their willingness to serve others
at great personal cost.
Lord, help us to honor their memory
not only with words,
but by living lives marked by integrity, responsibility, and love for our neighbors.
Grant us wisdom to preserve and strengthen
the freedom and peace that our forebears defended.
May we become a people
who seek justice, cherish peace,
and serve our nation with humility and gratitude.
