	Motivating	ㆍT reminds Ss of grammar points of lesson 6 by PPT. ㆍT has Ss guess what today's story is about by watching the video clip. - I am going to show you a video. Please enjoy it. ㆍT and Ss talk about the video briefly. - How do you feel? What happened to the seal? - What was the bird eating? Can you guess today's lesson? About the earth and the pollution. 	Presenting the aims	ㆍT introduce the procedure of today's lesson. -Let's check today's learning points. We are going to study new words and idioms. And then we are able to read and comprehend a short story. Also you can exchange our opinions about the topic.	PPT
D E V E L O P M E N T D E V E L O P M E N T (32')	Pre-reading	ㆍT has Ss listen to the main-text thinking about who, when, what, how, why. - You are going to listen to the story. While listening you have to think about who, when, what, how, and why. Don't forget to underline new words you don't understand. ․ T has Ss tell their answers for who, when, what, how, and why. And T has Ss study new words and idioms by anymemory file. -Do you have many new words?. Let's study new words and idioms. - be gone, stop -ing, hurt, make a difference, as much as	any- memory
	While- reading	- Now we are ready to read the story in detail. As you know, there are three kinds of games. Translations in group is 10 points. Doing the worksheet is 15 points. and then comprehension check up is 5 points each. The group getting the highest score will be the winner. Prize is waiting for you. <Group Reading> ․ T divides Ss into 5 groups of 4 and has them translate the different paragraph in group. - Now it's time for translation in group. If you have any question , let me know. ․ T gives 10 points to the first group which finishes the mission. (the next group - 9s, 8s, 7s) ․ T asks one student in each group to translate some sentences. - I am going to ask one of the members to translate, If he or she doesn't, the team will lose 3 points. ․ T has Ss do the worksheet in group. - If you want chance to read a book, please say ' Chance, please.' You'll have chance two times. ․ Ss fill in the blanks, correct the errors and matching words on their worksheets. ․ T has Ss exchange the worksheets with other group to check the answers. -Are you done?
