1: 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

1: 2 Now the earth was formless and empty,
나우 ㅎ디 으?j뜨 우워즈 ㅍ호엄레스 앤 엠ㅍ티
darkness was over the surface of the deep,
드아억네스 우워즈 옵흐어 ㅎ드어 쓰우엎훼이싸 ㅎ드어 디잎
and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

1: 3 And God said,
앤 그앗 ??
"Let there be light," and there was light.
을렛 ㅎ드에어 빌라잇 앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즐라잇
1: 4 God saw that the light was good,
그앗 쏘우 ㅎ드앳 ㅎ드얼라잇 우워즈 긋
and he separated the light from the darkness.

1: 5 God called the light "day,"
그앗 콜ㄷ ㅎ드얼라잇 드에이
and the darkness he called "night."
앤 ㅎ드어 드아억네스 히 콜ㄷ 느아잇
And there was evening,
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 입흔잉
and there was morning--the first day.
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 모언잉 ㅎ드어 ㅍ흐어슷 드에이
1: 6 And God said,
앤 그앗 ??
"Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water."
을렛 ㅎ드에어 비언 익쓰팬쓰 빗우인 ㅎ드어 워러스 투 쎄퍼뤠잇 워러 ㅍ후?? 워러
1: 7 So God made the expanse and separated
쏘우 그앗 메잇 ㅎ디 익쓰팬쓰 앤 쎄퍼뤠잇
the water under the expanse from the water above it.
ㅎ드어워러 언드어 ㅎ디 익쓰팬쓰 ㅍ후?? ㅎ드어 워러 어밥힛
And it was so.
앤 잇 우워즈 쏘우
1: 8 God called the expanse "sky."
그앗 콜ㄷ ㅎ디 익쓰팬쓰 스까이
And there was evening,
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 입흔잉
and there was morning--the second day.
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 모언잉 ㅎ드어 쎄컨드에이
1: 9 And God said,
앤 그앗 ??
"Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place,
을렛 ㅎ드어 워러 언드어 ㅎ드어 스까이 비 ?c드엇 투 완 플레이스
and let dry ground appear."
앤 을렛 주롸이 그롸운더피여어
And it was so.
앤 잇 우워즈 쏘우
1:10 God called the dry ground "land,"
그앗 콜ㄷ ㅎ드어 주롸이 그롸운 을랜
and the gathered waters he called "seas."
앤 ㅎ드어 ?c드엇 워러스 히 콜ㄷ 씨이즈
And God saw that it was good.
앤 그앗 쏘우 ㅎ드애릿 우워즈 긋
1:11 Then God said,
ㅎ드엔 그앗 ??
"Let the land produce vegetation:
을렛 ㅎ드얼랜 프롸듀우스 ㅂ??쮜레이션
seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it,
씨잇 베여어륑 플랜 챈 추뤼이쏜 ㅎ드얼랜 ㅎ등새 베여어 ㅍ흐뤼잇 우잇 씨이디닛
according to their various kinds."

And it was so.

1:12 The land produced vegetation:

plants bearing seed according to their kinds and

trees bearing fruit with seed in it according to their kinds.

And God saw that it was good.
앤 그앗 쏘 ㅎ드애릿 우워즈 긋
1:13 And there was evening,
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 입흔잉
and there was morning--the third day.
앤 ㅎ드에어 우웝즈 모언잉 ㅎ드어 ㅎ뜨어드에이
1:14 And God said,
앤 그앗 ??
"Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night,
을렉 ㅎ드에어 빌라이친 ㅎ디 익쓰팬 싸 ㅎ드어 스까이 투 쎄퍼뤠잇 ㅎ드어 드에이 ㅍ후?? ㅎ드어 느아잇
and let them serve as signs to mark seasons and days and years,
앤 을렛 ㅎ드엠 쓰업해즈 싸인즈 투 므아억 씨이즌 잰 드에이잰 이여어스
1:15 and let them be lights in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth."
앤 을렛 ㅎ드엠 빌 라이 친 ㅎ디 익쓰팬 싸 ㅎ드어 스까이 투 깁흘 라잇 온 ㅎ디 으?j뜨
And it was so.
엔 잇 우워즈 쏘우
1:16 God made two great lights-
그앗 메잇 투우 그우뤠잇 을라잇ㅊ
-the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night.
ㅎ드어 그우뤠이럴라잇 투 갑흐언 ㅎ드어 드에이 앤 ㅎ드얼레쓰얼라잇 투 갑흐언 ㅎ드어 느아잇
He also made the stars.
히 올쏘우 메잇 ㅎ드어 스뜨아어즈
1:17 God set them in the expanse of the sky to give light on the earth,
그앗 ?? ㅎ드에민 ㅎ디 익쓰팬 싸 ㅎ드어 스까이투깁흘라잇 온 ㅎ디 으?j뜨
1:18 to govern the day and the night,
투 갑흐언 ㅎ드어 드에이 앤 ㅎ드어 느아잇
and to separate light from darkness.
앤 투 쎄퍼뤠잇 을라잇 ㅍ후?? 드아억네스
And God saw that it was good.
앤 그앗 쏘우 ㅎ드애릿 우워즈 긋
1:19 And there was evening,
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 입흔잉
and there was morning--the fourth day.
엔 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 모언잉 ㅎ드어 ㅍ호?j뜨 드에이
1:20 And God said,
앤 그앗 ??
"Let the water teem with living creatures,
을렛 ㅎ드어 워러 트이임 우잇 을립힝 크뤼에이츄우어스
and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky."
앤 을렛 브으어즈 ㅍ흘라이 어밥ㅎ ㅎ디 으?j뜨 어크롸스 ㅎ디 익쓰팬싸 ㅎ드어 스까이
1:21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and
쏘우 그앗 크뤼에이릿 ㅎ드어 그우뤠잇 크뤼에이츄우어싸 ㅎ드어 씨이 앤
every living and moving thing with which the water teems,
엡흐어뤼 을리입힝 앤 뭅힝 ㅎ뜨잉 우잇 우윗취 ㅎ드어 워러 트임즈
according to their kinds,

and every winged bird according to its kind.

And God saw that it was good.

1:22 God blessed them and said,
그앗 블레슷 ㅎ드에 맨 ??
"Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas,
비 ㅍ흐륏ㅍ훌 앤 인크뤼이즈 인 느엄브어 앤 ㅍ휘이으 ㅎ드어 워러 인 ㅎ드어 씨이즈
and let the birds increase on the earth."
앤 을렛 ㅎ드어 브으어즈 인크뤼이즈 온 ㅎ디 으?j뜨
1:23 And there was evening,
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 입흔잉
and there was morning--the fifth day.
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 모언잉 ㅎ드어 ㅍ?Q??뜨 드에이
1:24 And God said,
앤 그앗 ??
"Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds:
을렛 ㅎ드얼랜 프롸듀우슬리입힝 크뤼에이츄우어저코어딩 투 ㅎ드에어 카인즈
livestock,
을라입ㅎ스딱
creatures that move along the ground,
크뤼에이츄우어즈 ㅎ드앳 뭅헐롱 ㅎ드어 그롸운ㄷ
and wild animals,
앤 우일 에어멀즈
each according to its kind."

And it was so.
앤 잇 우워즈 쏘우
1:25 God made the wild animals according to their kinds,
그앗 메잇 ㅎ드어 우와일 에너멀저코어딩 투 ㅎ드에어 카인즈
the livestock according to their kinds,
ㅎ드어 리입ㅎ스딱 어코어딩 투 ㅎ드에어 카인즈
and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds.
앤 올 ㅎ드어 크뤼에이츄우어즈 ㅎ드앳 뭅헐롱ㅎ드어 그롸운 더코어딩 투 ㅎ드에어 카인즈
And God saw that it was good.
앤 그앗 쏘우 ㅎ드애릿 우워즈 긋
1:26 Then God said,
ㅎ드엔 그앗 ??
"Let us make man in our image,
을레러스 메익 매 닌 아우어 이메잇쮜
in our likeness,
인 아우얼라익네스
and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air,
앤 을렛ㅎ드엠 우룰 옵흐어 ㅎ드어 ㅍ휘쉬 아 ㅎ드어 씨이 앤 ㅎ드어 브으어자 ㅎ디에어
over the livestock,
옵흐어 ㅎ드얼라입ㅎ스딱
over all the earth,
옵흐어 올 ㅎ디으?j뜨
and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
앤 옵흐어 올 ㅎ드어 크뤼에이츄우어드 ㅎ드앳 뭅헐롱 ㅎ드어 그롸운
1:27 So God created man in his own image,
쏘우 그앗 크뤼에이릿 매 니 니스 오운 이메잇쮜
in the image of God he created him;
인 ㅎ디 이메잇쮜 아 그앗 히 크뤼에이리딤
male and female he created them.
메일 앤 ㅍ히이메일 히 크뤼에이릿 ㅎ드엠
1:28 God blessed them and said to them,
그앗 블레슷 ㅎ드엠 앤 ?? 투 ㅎ드엠
"Be fruitful and increase in number;
비 ㅍ흐륏ㅍ훌 앤 인크뤼이즈 인 느엄브어
fill the earth and subdue it.
ㅍ휘으어 ㅎ디으?j뜨 앤 썹듀우 잇
Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and
우룰 롭흐어 ㅎ드어 ㅍ휘쉬 아 ㅎ드어 씨이 앤 ㅎ드어 브으어자 ㅎ디에어 앤
over every living creature that moves on the ground."
옵흐어 엡흐어륄리입힝 크뤼에이츄우어 ㅎ드어 뭅흐스온 ㅎ드어 그롸운
1:29 Then God said,
ㅎ드엔 그앗 ??
"I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and
아이 깁히유 엡흐어뤼 ㅆ잇 베여어륑 플랜 톤 ㅎ드어 ㅍ훼이싸 ㅎ드어 호울 으?j뜨 앤
every tree that has fruit with seed in it.
엡흐어뤼 추뤼이 ㅎ드앳 해즈 ㅍ후륏 우잇 씨이디닛
They will be yours for food.
ㅎ드에이 우일 비 여즈 ㅍ호어 ㅍ후웃
1:30 And to all the beasts of the earth and
앤 투 올 ㅎ드어 비이슷 차 ㅎ디 으?j뜨 앤
all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground-
올 ㅎ드어 브으어자 ㅎ디에어 앤 올 ㅎ드어 크뤼에이츄우어즈 ㅎ드앳 뭅혼 ㅎ드어 그롸운ㄷ
-everything that has the breath of life in it-
엡흐어??뜨잉 ㅎ드앳 해즈 ㅎ드어 브뤠??뜨 아 라잎히닛
-I give every green plant for food."
아이 깁ㅎ 엡흐어뤼 그뤼인 플랜 ㅍ호어 ㅍ후웃
And it was so.

1:31 God saw all that he had made,
그앗 쏘우 올 ㅎ드앳 히 햇 메잇
and it was very good.
앤 잇 우워즈 ㅂ흐에뤼 긋
And there was evening,
앤 ㅎ드에어 우어즈 입흔잉
and there was morning--the sixth day.
앤 ㅎ드에어 우워즈 모언잉 ㅎ드어 씩?６? 드에이
