As suggested by Joakim Skog, I have begun a video blog from our recordings.

My idea is to follow a song called "The window that leads to your world". The blog begins when I am in my work space re-arranging the bass and rhythm parts. Check out the blog as it develops here.

Hammerfest

It would be hard to find a concert located closer to the North Pole. We had a concert there last night, at Arktisk Kultursenter; a very good concert hall.

Hammerfest is a very beautiful place!

Köln Sing & Swing

Monday after a hectic weekend in Köln!

We did a concert  at this sing and swing festival. Absolutely 100% inspiring. So many nice vocalgroups and choirsingers at the same time that my smile is almost stuck. Maybe some instrumental music would make me normal...:-)

Me and Jalkan were part of the Jury for the competition. 40 performing groups from Friday night to Sunday evening.

Wow!

Matthias Becker our good friend was in the jury as well as Reinette van Zeitveld - Lustig who we know from when she sang  in Total Vokal. Prof Michael Scmoll and Martin te Laak became new friends after this quite intense experience.The strongest impression from this weekend is how amazing it is to see people put all this positive energy into music.

It is so powerful and I think it is a fundamental human need to express whatever it is we express with our music.

I had moments when I honestly thought that this is how we actively could work to acheive worldpeace...I know...maybe I am overreacting...but that is the feeling I had.

In the intermissions we had short coaching sessions with the groups. A great idea although 25 minutes is a little short. Better than nothing for sure. I am not such a fan of the competitive factor so I am happy to see that almost everybody takes the ratings for what they are and look for the inspiration and the opportunity to meet and and just make music.

For me it was great to meet with Bonner Jazzchor (I have met some of their members earlier in Västerås in the group Ladytalk), Fleckenberger sound project, Cäcilia singers, Vocal Journey - great studentchoir!! and Klangküsse. I also had a spontaneous outburst with EpsiTon.

The voice is such a fascinating instrument.

[별냥]

계속 공연하고 있으신가봐요?? 투어하시면 정말 힘들텐데... 몸아프시면 어째요... (특히 목!!) 그리고 공연때마다 드는 생각인데.. 안데쉬오라버니는 퍼커션 한번 하면 정말 몸이 남아나질 않을것같아요~ 안그래도 훤칠한 몸매인데 더 마르시면 어떡하죠?! ^^

[Only-You]

우리나라두 음악축제를 자주 열었으면 좋겠어요~ 음악축제가 너무 적은거같아요ㅠㅠ 혹시 광화문에 있는 KT아트홀에서하는 재즈공연 아시나요? Jazz in the city라구 천원짜리 공연인데요, 정말정말 좋더라구요~ 다들 꼭한번 가보시길^^!!
