1. Blu-ray receipt confirmation/authentication board will not be opened, nor operated.
- TRS Blu-ray receipt confirmation board will not be opened, nor operated within the TRS Director’s Cut Promotion Cafe.
This is because authentication posts can be abused for used Blu-ray transaction fraud/scam. Also, possible copyright infringement can occur in the middle of the authentication process.
- In addition, used Blu-ray transactions are strictly prohibited in the Blu-ray promotion cafes.
If you share the images of your TRS blu-ray in other online communities or through personal SNS accounts, make sure to include a mandatory watermark indicating that it is not for sale.
(For examples, you can add a phrase such as "Not for sale, Not for secondhand Transaction” and include your Nickname or ID as watermarks.)
2. Blu-ray copyright information & copyright infringement report
- All content included in the “MBC DRAMA The Red Sleeve Director’s Cut Blu-Ray” is protected by copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual and property rights and all rights are reserved by MBC.
[All content] means all video content and special goods and features included in the Blu-ray package.
- It is a violation of copyrights to re-edit or modify the Blu-ray video clips and upload them to social medias.
You will be responsible for potential civil and criminal labilities related to any copyright infringement.
- It is also a violation of copyrights to describe the video content in text and post it to an open place or to edit, merge, and retouch video clips and upload them.
- Taking pictures of the Blu-ray outbox, package, or book covers is acceptable.
However, it is strictly prohibited to take pictures of what is actually included in the special goods such as the Continuity book, the Interview Book, or the Special Book. Additionally, you cannot post the pictures of(or scanned) signed postcards, mini-posters, numbering card, special paper goods (ripped book page and Deokim’s letter of apology), Polaroids pictures, lenticular card.
- As we approach the TRS Blu-ray release date, the TRS Director’s Cut promotion team will open a board for copyright infringement reports in the TRS cafe. The promotion team will monitor postings related to copyright violation reports for a certain period of time even after the Blu-ray promotion is officially done. If you find any video clips, images, or postings violating copyrights, please report the case through the report board in the TRS café.
- The TRS Blu-Ray includes videos and content created with hard work and effort by Director Jung, all actors, and production staff. You have waited so long for the TRS Blu-ray and it is your privilege to enjoy the exclusive content included in the TRS Blu-ray.
We kindly ask you to abide by the copyright law.
- Copyright infringement can lead to your civil and criminal liabilities not only in Korea, but also internationally as well. The distribution company and the promotion team are not responsible for any legal issues, complaints, or proceedings, esp. regarding your violation of copyrights.
►Guideline for video content such as main episodes, commentaries, and behind-the-scenes clips◄
Director’s cut Blu-ray includes many scenes and clips that have not been officially released. Only those who purchased the Blu-ray can access those scenes and it is their privilege. Therefore, any and all parts of the video content included in the TRS Blu-rayare protected by the copyrights and we also need to protect the content with utmost care.
1) You CAN mention the characters, but detailed description of the scenes is NOT allowed.
2) You are NOT allowed to re-create or re-edit all video content including the main episodes. For example, you cannot share screenshots or Gif files. Creating stickers or badges and purchasing & sharing them is not allowed at all.
3) How to mention TRS Blu-ray content in an open space
- Example: I really liked when (detailed description)! à NOT allowed (you cannot describe certain scenes in detail)
- Example: Disc #1 interview 11 min 11 sec, SanDeok were so cute! à Possible.
►Guideline for Outbox, Digipack, and other special goods◄
1) You are NOT allowed to film the elements of the Blu-ray package.
2) You CAN take pictures of the Blu-ray elements
3) Photo review of the Blu-ray package needs watermarks indicating that the Blu-ray is not for sale. These watermarks need to fill the whole picture. (You can add a phrase such as "Not for sale, Not for secondhand Transaction” and include your Nickname or ID as watermarks.)
4) You CAN take pictures of the covers only for the outbox, digipack, photo/interview books. Do NOT spread them to display the inside content.
5) The rest of the elements needs to be piled up (with the exception of the first page, at least ¾ need to be covered from the second page) and only the front picture can be shared.
6) How to write a text review for the non-video elements
- Example: “Interview Book Page 15 Director’s interview is Daebak!” à Possible
- Example: “In the Story Board Book Page 15, the scene was filmed as San moved to DeokIm at the annex scene. Now I get it!” – NOT allowed
3. Future schedule after the TRS Blu-ray release.
- The estimated release date for the “TRS Director’s Cut Blu-ray” is Sep 26 (9/26/2022).
The promotion team will be disbanded 2 weeks after the release date (currently, 10/10) unless there are common errors related to faculty discs (or issues/situations equivalent to this magnitude).
- If the estimated release date changes, the promotion team will complete all activities 2 weeks after the new release date.
After the final date, you cannot sign up for a new membership to the promotion café.
Please keep in mind that the official social media accounts (Twitter and Instagram) for the TRS Director’s Cut Blu-ray promotion team will be freezed as well.
