모든 것을 지으신 분은 하느님이십니다.—히브리 3:4.
자녀는 학교에서 과학을 공부하면서 다양한 물체의 모양에 규칙이 있다는 것을 알게 될 것입니다. 예를 들어 각각의 눈송이는 프랙털이라고 하는 기하학적 구조로 이루어져 있습니다. 프랙털 구조는 자연에서 흔히 볼 수 있습니다. 이러한 아름다운 구조를 이루는 규칙은 누가 만든 것입니까? 자연에서 볼 수 있는 질서와 정교한 디자인은 누가 만든 것입니까? 자녀가 이러한 점들을 생각해 본다면 하느님이 모든 것을 만드셨다는 믿음이 더 강해질 것입니다. 자녀가 어느 정도 성장하면 자녀에게 이러한 질문을 해 볼 수 있습니다. “하느님께서 우리를 창조하셨다면 우리가 어떻게 살아야 행복할지 그분이 가장 잘 아시지 않을까?” 그런 다음 자녀에게 우리가 행복하게 사는 데 도움이 되는 지침이 성경에 나온다고 알려 줄 수 있을 것입니다.
반론: 하나님의 칭조물을 보면 현기증이 난다. 꽃잎의 숫자와 무늬는 경이롭다. 눈송이도 모두 다른 모양을 갖추고 있다. 들에 핀 들풀의 꽃도 아름답다. 그러한 꽃은 그냥 보면 지나치기 쉽다. 그래서 어떤 시인은 자세히 보아야 아름답다고 하였다.
자세히 보면 아름다운 것들이 더 많다. 모든 생명체는 아름다우며 자연의 이치를 생각하면 어지러울 정도이다. 창조주이신 여호와께서도 자신의 창조물에 대해서 자부심을 갖고 계신다. 하나님은 욥에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. 욥기 37장 9절이다.
"폭풍우는 그 밀실에서 나오고 추위는 북풍을 타고 오느니라 10 하나님의 입김이 얼음을 얼게 하고 물의 너비를 줄어들게 하느니라 11 또한 그는 구름에 습기를 실으시고 그의 번개로 구름을 흩어지게 하시느니라
14 욥이여 이것을 듣고 가만히 서서 하나님의 오묘한 일을 깨달으라 15 하나님이 이런 것들에게 명령하셔서 그 구름의 번개로 번쩍거리게 하시는 것을 그대가 아느냐 16 그대는 겹겹이 쌓인 구름과 완전한 지식의 경이로움을 아느냐
17 땅이 고요할 때에 남풍으로 말미암아 그대의 의복이 따뜻한 까닭을 그대가 아느냐 18 그대는 그를 도와 구름장들을 두들겨 넓게 만들어 녹여 부어 만든 거울 같이 단단하게 할 수 있겠느냐"
폭풍우와 추위가 어디에서 오는지? 구름에 습기를 싣고 그의 번개로 구름을 흩어지게 하는지 아는가? 남풍이 불면 왜 따뜻해 지는지 아는가? 라고 질문하였다. 자연의 경이로움에 대해서 인간은 너무나 모르기 때문이다.
바람이 어디에서 시작되는지 그리고 어디로 사라지는지 인간은 모른다. 사람은 단지 바람 소리만 들을 뿐이지 어디서 왔다가 어디로 가는지 알수가 없다. 놀라운 창조물의 세계이다. 더욱 놀라운 것인 생명체이다.
부모를 닮은 자녀가 어떻게 태어 나는지 인간은 알수가 없다. 인간이 가지고 있는 DNA 속에 놀라운 유전자와 설계도가 숨어있다. 그 유전자가 자녀가 부모를 닮은 모습으로 혹은 성격으로 태어나는 것이다. 콩 심은데 콩 나고 팥 심은데 팥이 난다.
식물의 생산 능력고 놀랍다. 어떤 작물은 이른 봄에 심어야 하고 다른 작물은 가을에 심어야 하는 것도 있다. 어떤 둥물은 짝짓기 하는 시기가 1년에 3~4일에 불과한 동물도 있고 1년 내내 번식하는 동물도 있다.
암놈과 숫놈이 평생 떨어져 살다가 페르몬의 냄새를 맡고 짝을 찾아 가기도 하며 결국 짝을 찾아 번식에 성공하고 또 떠난다. 다만 짝짓기를 하기 위해서 먼 길을 찿아 온 것이다. 연어와 거북은 자기가 태어난 곳을 찾아가서 그곳에서 알을 낳는다.
수만 킬로미터를 어떻게 알고 찾아 가는가? 신비로울 뿐이다. 어떤 동물은 보름달에 알을 낳고 어떤 동물은 그믐달에 그리고 초승달에 맞추어 알을 낳는다. 달의 위치와 동물이 번식하는 시기를 생각하면 신비로울 뿐이다.
포식자의 먹이가 되는 피식자는 새끼들을 많이 그리고 자주 낳는다. 대표적인 것이 쥐와 토끼이다. 다른 동물의 먹이가 되기 위해서 많은 새끼를 낳는 것이다. 아직도 인간은 동, 식물에 대해서 모르는 것이 너무나 많다.
하루살이와 같고 먼지와 같은 인간이 어떻게 영원히 사시는 하나님의 일을 다 알겠는가? 따라서 인간은 무조건 하나님 앞에서 겸손해야 한다. 모든 만물을 지으신 분은 하나님이시기 때문이다. 그분이 만드신 모든 만물은 인간의 유익을 위해서 만드셨다.
인간의 즐거움을 위해서 창조하신 것이다. 그래서 어떤 사람은 동물을 연구하는데 평생을 사용하고 어떤 사람은 식물을 연구하는데 인생을 바친다. 다른 분들은 우주를, 혹은 특정한 분야를 위해서 인생을 바치는 것이다.
공부할 것은 너무나 많고 모든 것을 다 알수도 없지만 알려고 하는 것도 인간을 피곤하게 한다. 따라서 가장 가까운 곳에 있는 창조물을 보고 창조주의 존재를 인정하고 그분이 하시는 일에 대해서 감사해야 한다.
더욱 놀라운 것은 자연의 선물뿐만 아니라 육체를 가진 인간을 영으로 몸으로 부활시키고 하늘에 완성된 하나님의 나라에서 영원한 생명을 주신다는 사실이다. 인간이 신이 되는 것이다. 놀라운 변신이며 기적이다.
나비가 되기 위해서 알로 태어난 초기부터 여러번 변태를 한다. 그리고 드디어 아름다운 나비가 된다. 인간도 마찬가지이다. 힘없고 나약한 육체로 태어났지만 결국 가장 강력한 영의 몸으로 변신하는 것이다.
그리고 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않고 우주를 다닐수 있고 모든 곳을 보고 경험하게 될 것이다. 이런 일들은 창조주이신 하나님이 하시는 일이다. 그저 인간은 겸손할 따름이다.
그런데 거짓말쟁이 중장회는 이 땅에서 영원히 산다고 거짓말을 하고 사람들을 속이고 있다. 거짓말쟁이들이 인도하는 증인 조직에서 해방되어야 한다.

It is God who built everything.—Heavy 3:4.

14 Job, when you hear this, stand still and realize the subtleties of God. 15 Do you know that God commands these things and make them flash by the lightning of the clouds? 16 Do you know the wonders of layered clouds and complete knowledge
17 Do you know why your clothes are warm because of the south wind when the earth is still? 18 Can you help him beat the clouds and make them as thick as a mirror made by melting and pouring them out
