하느님의 뜻에 맞는 슬픔은 구원에 이르는 회개를 가져옵니다.—고린도 후서 7:10.
사도 바울은 의붓어머니와 성적 부도덕을 저지른 사람에 대해 언급하면서, 그 사람이 “대다수에게서 충분히 꾸짖음을 받았다”고 말했습니다. (고린도 후서 2:5-8; 고린도 전서 5:1) 다시 말해 그를 징계한 목적이 달성된 것입니다. 어떤 목적입니까? 그가 회개하도록 돕는 것입니다. (히브리 12:11) 그래서 바울은 잘못을 저지른 그 사람을 “기꺼이 용서하고 위로해 주[고] 그를 사랑하고 있음을 그에게 확신시켜 주라”고 고린도 회중에 지시했습니다. 바울의 말을 보면 고린도 회중은 단지 그 사람을 여호와의 백성으로 다시 받아들이는 것보다 더 많은 일을 해야 했습니다. 바울은 그들이 회개한 그 사람을 진정으로 용서하고 사랑한다는 것을 말과 행동으로 그에게 확실히 보여 주기를 바랐습니다. 그렇게 할 때 회중으로 돌아온 그를 환영한다는 것을 분명히 나타낼 수 있었습니다.
반론: 카톨릭은 인간이 생각하는 죄를 지으면 신부에게 고백을 한다. 고해성사라고 한다. 일반 기독교에서는 특별한 고백을 하지 않는다. 증인 조직은 회중의 장로들에게 고백을 한다. 그리고 장로들이 처리한다.
제명을 할 것인지, 징계를 할 것인지, 조언만 하고 끝낼 것인지를 결정한다. 사법 위원회가 결정을 한다. 그들은 재판관이신 예수의 자리를 차지하고 심판을 하는 것이다. 인간이, 인간이 저지른 죄를 심판하고 단죄를 짓는 것이다.
지금은 하나님의 법에 의한 죄는 없다. 하나님의 법이었던 율법이 기원 70년에 사라졌기 때문이다. 따라서 성경에 근거한 죄는 없으며 형벌도 없다. 성경을 잘못 이해하고 성경에 대한 지식이 무지한 자들이 아직도 성경에 근거한 죄를 만들고 회개를 요구하고 있다.
성경의 지식에 맹인인 중장회가 그짓을 하고 있다. 아직도 음행을 죄라고 생각한다. 성경에 근거한 죄라는 것이다. 물론 개인의 양심에 따라 죄가 될수도 있다. 양심이 괴로울수 있으며 자신의 행동에 대해서 자책할수도 있다.
그러나 그것이 성경에 근거한 죄는 아니다. 울법의 목적은 인간이 죄인임을 드러내기 위함이었다. 600 가지의 죄목 중에 단 한 가지라도 지키지 못하면 인간은 죄인이 되는 것이다. 따라서 모든 율법을 지킨 사람은 없으며 어느 그물에 걸려도 걸리는 것이다.
즉, 아무리 깨끗하게 살려고 노력을 하고 양심적인 행동을 하려고 해도 죄인이 되는 것이다. 인간의 기본적인 특성이 죄를 짓게 되어 있다. 그 결과 인간은 죄인이며 씻을수 없는 죄를 하나님 앞에 지었다.
하나님은 이 문제를 어떻게 해결할 것인가? 율법 시대에는 죄에 따라서 피해자에게 배상을 해야 했으며 어떤 죄는 제사장에게 가서 고백을 하고 제물을 바쳐야 하였다. 고의적이 아니고 우발적인 살인을 한 경우에는 대제사장이 죽을 때까지 도피성에 가서 도피해야 하였다.
그리고 이스라엘 백성을 위한 집단적인 죄의 용서를 위해서 대제사장은 7월 1일에 제물을 하나님께 바쳐야 하였다. 이런 형식적인 행동으로 백성의 죄는 모두 깨끗이 지워졌다. 이것은 불편하고 번거로운 일이었다.
그래서 예수를 통하여 인간의 죄를 모두 없애시는 계획을 하셨고 실천에 옮기셨다. 즉, 예수께서 인간과 하나님과의 화목 제물이 되어 희생 되심으로 인간의 죄는 영원히 사라졌다. 죄를 짓고 제물을 또 드리고...또 드려야 하는 반복되는 행동을 중단하셨다.
이미 약 1600년 간의 언약을 통하여 인간은 죄인이며 1년에 한 번 드리는 제사도 번거로운 것이었다. 그래서 단 한 번의 희생 제물이 되신 예수의 희생으로 인간은 영원히 죄인에서 벗어 났으며 하나님 앞에서 깨끗한 신분이 되었다. 하나님의 자비이며 사랑이다.
이미 약 2000년 전에 이러한 일을 하셨다. 따라서 지금은 성경에 근거한 죄도 없으며 용서도 없다. 다만 인간이 만든 법에 의해서 어떤 행동은 죄가 될수 있으며 그에 따른 형벌이 될수도 있다.
그런데 아직도 성경에 근거한 죄가 있다고 주장하고 중장회가 만든 죄목이 있다. 증인 조직이 만든 죄목에는 군대에 가도 죄가 되며, 생일을 지켜도 죄가 된다. 애국가를 불러도 죄이며 국기에 대한 경례를 하여도 죄인이 된다.
선거를 하여도 죄이며 타인의 피를 수혈하여도 죄이다. 제사를 지내도 죄이며 제사 음식을 하여도 죄이다. 온통 죄가 흘려 넘친다. 일세기 제자들이 지켜야 했던 죄목보다 더 많다.
이런 거짓말쟁이들이 만든 죄목에 발목이 잡혀서 인간 관계와 가족 관계가 깨어지고 있다. 성경에 대한 무지가 불러온 결과이다. 거짓말쟁이 중장회가 만든 죄에서 해방되어야 한다. 자기의 생명도 구원하지 못하는 자들이 남의 생명을 구할수는 없다.
중장회 구성원이었던 모든 사람들이 죽었다. 자신도 죽을 몸이었고 죽었는데...어떻게 남을 구한다고 큰 소리 치는가? 자기 자신부터 구하고 남을 구해야 한다. 자신의 생명도 구하지 못하는 중장회가 남의 생명을 구한다고 전도를 시키고 돈벌이에 열을 올리고 있다.
가소로운 중장회이다. 그들이 인도하는 증인 조직에서 해방되어야 한다.

Grief in God's will brings repentance to salvation. — Corinthians 7:10.
