이사야기 말한 "나의 종"은 누구인가? 여호와의 증인 종교가 아니라 유일하게 하나님과 언약을 맺은 이스라엘 백성이었다. 그들이 70년간 바벨론의 포로 생활을 끝내면서 기원전 537년에 고토로 돌아올 때에 대해서 이사야가 예언한 말이다.
하나님의 말씀에 기갈이 든 그들을 다시 풍부하게 먹이시겠다는 것이다. 새 하늘과 새 땅이란 무엇인가? 새로운 통치권과 새로운 백성을 의미하였다. 바벨론에서 돌아올 때 새로운 인도자였던 총독 스룹바벨과 대제사장 여호수아의 인도 아래 돌아왔다.
이들이 새 하늘, 즉 새로운 통치자들이었으며 바벨론에 포로로 끌려갈 때 생존했던 사람들은 대부분 죽고 바벨론에서 태어난 자들이 새 땅이었다. 그들이 새로운 백성이 되었기 때문이다. 참고로 성경에는 새 하늘과 새 땅이라는 표현이 네 (4) 번 나온다.
이사야 65:17절과 66장 22절, 그리고 베드로 후서 3;13절과 계시록 21장 1절이다. 이사야서에 나오는 새 하늘과 새 땅은 설명한 바와 같고 베드로 후서 3:13절에 나오는 새 하늘과 새 땅은 계시록에서 성취되는데 기원 70년에 하늘에 완성된 하나님의 나라에서 성취되고 있다.

어떤 검보다도 더 예리하다. 날카롭다. 따라서 성경의 말씀을 이해하려면 더 예리한 판단력과 지각력과 지혜가 필요하다. 예리한 예언의 말씀인 성경의 내용을 판단하고 이해하는데 무딘 칼이나 날카롭지 못한 칼로는 이해하지 못한다.
성경의 말씀은 죽은 생선이 아니다. 살아 움직이는 말씀이다. 그래서 죽은 생선을 다루듯이 무디고 무딘 칼로는 해부하지 못한다. 누가 그러한 자들인가? 중장회이다. 그들은 무디고 칼날이 울퉁불퉁한 칼로 성경의 말씀을 재단하고 있다.
그 결과는 자다가 봉창 두드리는 소리만 한다. 엉터리 예언을 하고 있으며 증인 조직이 존재한 약 150년간 거짓말만 늘어 놓았다. 그들에게는 풍부한 영적 양식이 아니라 부패한 영적 양식만 있다. 순순한 성경의 말씀에 부패한 첨가물을 부가하여 먹지 못하는 음식을 만들었다.
그런 음식을 증인들에게 나눠주고 있다. 영적 양식이 아니라 영적 독약이다. 그 결과 증인이 된 사람들은 모두가 거짓말만 믿다가 죽었으며 개인의 삶과 가정이 풍지박살이 났다. 이러한 부패한 음식은 지금도 제공되고 있으며 지금도 섭취하고 있다.
그 결과 대부분의 증인들의 삶이 비참하며 미래를 대비하지 못하고 있다. 노년의 삶은 하루살이이며 우울증과 가난으로 찌들고 있다. 러셀 시대부터 1900년대 말까지는 출판물 사업으로 엄청난 돈을 벌었다. 물장사와 종이 장사가 남는 장사였다.

마약에 중독된 사람처럼 불량 영적양식에 취해 있다. 아마겟돈, 신세계, 육적인 부활...모두가 악성 불량식품이며 먹어서는 안되는 영적 영식이다. 정신을 차리고 깨어나야 한다. 거짓말쟁이 중장회가 인도하는 증인 조직에서 해방되어야 한다.

Behold! My servants will eat, but you will starve.-- Isaiah 65:13.
Isaiah's prophecy vividly describes how different the lives of those in and out of spiritual paradise are. Jehovah provides his servants with an abundance of spiritual needs. We 'eat, drink, and rejoice' because of the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and rich spiritual styles (compared to verse 22:17). In contrast, those outside spiritual paradise are 'starved, thirsty, and humiliated.' They are not receiving any spiritual needs. (Amos 8:11) Jehovah generously supplies his people with what they need, including spiritual needs. (Joel 2:21-24) He fills our needs through rallies and contests, as well as through the Bible, Bible publications, and our websites. These spiritual arrangements provide us with daily benefits, and as a result, we become spiritually healthier and gain new strength.
Counter-argument: Isaiah 65:13. "This is why the Lord says, Behold, my servants will be given food; behold, my servants will be drinkable; behold, behold, my servants will be glad; but you will be humiliated."
