주어 다음의 삽입어구
주어 다음에는 전치사구, to부정사(구), 형용사(구), 분사(구), 관계대명사절, 동격 등의 삽입어구가 주어를 수식하기도 한다. 이들 다음에 오는 동사가 서술어이다.
eg. My first dates with Greg were terrible. Greg와의 내 첫 데이트들은 끔찍했다.
The lakes we swam in were clean. 우리가 수영한 호수들은 깨끗했다.
The car made in Germany is expensive. 독일에서 만들어진 그 차는 비싸다.
