원급비교는 원급의 형태를 확인한다                                                출제빈도 ★★

출제 경향: as～as 사이에 형용사 또는 부사가 원급 형태로 알맞게 쓰이는지 확인해야 한다.

1. A...as+형용사/부사+as B: ‘A는 B만큼 ～하다’라는 의미로 두 개의 대상을 비교할 때 쓴다. * 부정어가 있으면 so ～ as 형태로 쓴다.

   She is as tall as her brother.

   She is not so[as] tall as her brother.

2. as ～ as 사이의 원급 형태 구분: 형용사와 부사 중 어느 것을 써야 하는지는 앞의 as와 뒤의 「as+B」를 없애고 생각한다.

   He speech was as (good / well) as Steve's. → good

    → Her speech was good. (O) Her speech was well. (×)
