For graduates of top 20-30 law schools, top 10%. The remaning top 50 and second-tier, top 5%. Third-tier and below, you need to graduate number 1 or 2.

One of the major factor in becoming a partner, i think, is how much billing u can bring into the firm. What ultimately matters is $. Firms dont give crap about ur degree in long run.
