Yesterday, December 22,
from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, a seminar was held at GM Allenโ€™s dojang.

I originally came to the U.S. to attend my sonโ€™s wedding,
and planned only to stop by Allenโ€™s dojang to greet everyone
and share a short, informal training session.

However, I was deeply grateful to see far more participants than expected,
all showing genuine interest and respect.

I sincerely thank Allenโ€™s lifelong Tang Soo Do martial companions,
senior Tang Soo Do black belts, a Hapkido master,
and his color-belt students who joined with open minds and enthusiasm.
Special appreciation goes to Nicolas Killen,
who traveled all the way from Mississippi,
along with all other participants who made the effort to attend.

The seminar focused on reinforcing the fundamentals of martial arts training,
with emphasis on Kimu training,
as well as two-hand sword methods, double-sword techniques,
and Ssang-Gyeok sword practice.

Beyond techniques, the training centered on understanding body flow,
awareness, and natural movementโ€”
and it was meaningful to see resonance form among practitioners
from different martial backgrounds.

At the conclusion, I shared my hope to meet everyone again at the U.S. seminar scheduled for October next year, and at the European Championship in the Netherlands on July 4 next year.

After the seminar,
we enjoyed a BBQ hot pot dinner together, sharing good food and conversation before parting ways.

Though the visit was brief,
it was a meaningful and heartfelt timeโ€” one that leaves me looking forward to our next meeting.
