아침 차 한 잔
놓고 마시려 하니
커피를 너무 좋아 했던
옛 사랑 그녀가 생각난다.
찻집에가면 무조건
진한 커피를 식혀 놓고서
하얀 김이 올라 가는 것으로
우리대화를 시작하던 그녀
발랄하지만 커피 한 잔 앞에서
무한히 조용하고 단정하던 그녀
지금도 그녀는 커피 한잔 놓고
아름다운 시를 쓰고 있겠지(26.6.21)
I Still Think of You from Time to Time (13-132)Yoo Yeong-dong
As I lay down a cup of tea this morning to drink,
I think of my old love, who loved coffee so much.
Whenever we went to a teahouse, she would always
let the strong coffee cool down
and start our conversation with the white steam rising
She was lively, yet infinitely quiet
and composed in front of a cup of coffee.
Even now, she must be writing beautiful poetry with
a cup of coffee in front of her. (June 21, 2026)
