부부로 사십사년 넘게 살았건만
서로 다른 성격으로
영원히 타인으로 살아가네
양보와 타협의 조화가
우리 부부에 없다면
헤어져 살아가겠지
무더위로 잠 못드는 밤
나는 에어컨바람이 필요하고
아내는 추워서 싫다고 한다.
자식들이 있으면
에어컨키고 자지만
자식이 돌아 갔으니 꺼야한단다
작은 것하나 못 맞춰사는
우리 부부는 아마도
영원한 타인인가 보다(24.9.18.)

Even though we have lived as a couple for over 44 years,
we will live as strangers forever because
of our different personalities
If there is no harmony of compromise
and concession in our marriage,
we will live apart.
A sleepless night because of the heat
I need the air conditioning,
and my wife says she doesn't like
it because it's cold.
If we had children,
we would sleep with the air conditioning on,
but now that our children are gone,
we have to turn it off.
My husband and I,
who can't get along even in small things,
