(4) 譬喩
譬如暗中寶 無燈不可見
佛法無人說 雖慧莫能了
비유컨대 어둠 속에 있는 보배를
등불 없이는 불 수 없듯이
부처님의 법도 말하는 사람이 없으면
비록 지혜가 있더라도 능히 알지 못하네.
Just like a jewel in the dark
Cannot be seen if there is no lamp,
With no one to explain Buddha’s teaching
Even the intelligent cannot comprehend it.
Just like a jewel; 비유컨대 ~ 보배를
in the dark; 어둠 속에 있는
Cannot be seen; 불 수 없듯이
if there is no lamp; 등불 없이는
With no one to explain; 말하는 사람이 없으면
Buddha’s teaching; 부처님의 법도
Even the intelligent; 비록 지혜가 있더라도
cannot comprehend it; 능히 알지 못하네
