1:21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him,
비록 그들이 하나님을 알았지만 그들은 하나님으로서 그에게 영광을 돌리지 않고 그에게 감사를 드리지도 않았으나
but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
그들의 생각하는 것이 헛되게 되었고 그들의 어리석은 마음은 어두워졌다.
1:22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
비록 그들이 지혜롭다고 주장하지만 그들은 어리석게 되었고
1:23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
그들은 영원불멸의 신의 영광을 필멸의 인간과 새, 동물, 파충류의 형상을 본뜬 우상으로 바꾸었다.
1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
그러므로 하나님께서는 그들의 마음의 죄악된 욕망대로 그들을 내버려 두셔서 서로 몸을 더럽히는 음란한 행위에 빠지게 하셨다.
1:25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen.
그들은 하나님의 진리를 거짓으로 바꾸고 창조주 대신 피조물을 숭배하고 섬겼다.
영원토록 찬양받으실 창조주 하나님께 아멘.
1:26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts.
이것 때문에 하나님께서 그들에게 수치스러운 정욕에 내버려 두셨다.
Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
심지어 그들의 여성들조차 자연스러운 관계 대신 부자연스러운 관계를 택했다.
