21:11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences(전염병) in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.
큰 지진과 기근과 전염병이 각 처에서 그리고 두려운 사건들과 하늘로부터 큰 표적이 있을 것이다.
21:12 "But before all this, they will lay hands on you and persecute you.
그러나 이 모든 것이 일어나기 전에 그들은 너희에게 손을 대고 너희를 박해할 것이다.
They will deliver you to synagogues and prisons, 그들은 너희를 회당과 감옥으로 넘겨줄 것이며
and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name.

21:13 This will result in your being witnesses to them.

21:14 But make up your mind not to worry beforehand how you will defend yourselves.

21:15 For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

21:16 You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers, relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death.

21:17 All men will hate you because of me.

21:18 But not a hair of your head will perish.

21:19 By standing firm you will gain life.
굳게 서있음으로 너희는 생명을 얻을 것이다.
21:20 "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies,
너희가 예루살렘이 군대들에 의하여 에워싸지는 것을 볼 때
you will know that its desolation is near.
너희는 그것의 황폐함이 가까이 왔다는 것을 알 것이다.
