22:1 Now the Feast of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching,
이제 유월절이라고 불리우는 무교절이 다가오고 있었고
22:2 and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, 대제사장들과 율법 선생들은 예수를 제거할 기회를 엿보고 있는 중이었다.
for they were afraid of the people. 왜냐하면 그들은 사람들을 두려워했기 때문이다.
22:3 Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve.
그때 사탄이 열두 제자 중에 하나인 가룟이라고 불리우는 유다에게 들어갔다.
22:4 And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard
그리고 유다는 대제사장들과 성전을 지키는 관원들에게 가서
and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus.
그가 어떻게 예수를 팔아넘길지 그들과 의논했다.
22:5 They were delighted and agreed to give him money.
그들은 기뻐하며 그에게 돈을 주기로 합의했다.
22:6 He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present.
그는 동의하고 군중들이 없을 때 그들에게 예수를 넘겨줄 기회를 엿보고 있었다.
22:7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.
그때 유월절 양을 잡는 무교절 날이 왔다.
22:8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, 예수께서 베드로와 요한을 보내어 말씀하시기를
"Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover."
가서 우리가 유월절 음식을 먹을 준비를 하라.
22:9 "Where do you want us to prepare for it?" they asked.
그들은 "주님은 우리가 어디서 그것을 준비하기를 원하십니까?"하고 물었다.
22:10 He replied, "As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you.
그는 "네가 그 도시에 막 들어갔을 때에 물항아리를 나르고 있는 한 사람을 만나게 될 것이다."라고 대답하셨다.
Follow him to the house that he enters, 그가 들어가는 그 집으로 그를 따라가라.
22:11 and say to the owner of the house, 그리고 그 집 주인에게 말하라.
'The Teacher asks: 선생님께서 묻습니다.
Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?'
"내가 내 제자들과 유월절 음식을 먹을 손님 방이 어디에 있는가?"
