34 Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. 그리고 그들은 제비를 뽑아 그의 옷을 나누었다.
23:35 The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him.
그 사람들은 지켜보며 서있었고 그 관원들은 그를 비웃기 조차했다.
They said, "He saved others; let him save himself if he is the Christ of God, the Chosen One."
그들은 "그가 다른 자들을 구했다. 만일 그가 선택받은 자, 하나님의 그리스도라면 그 자신을 구하게 하라."고 말했다.
23:36 The soldiers also came up and mocked him.
그 병사들 또한 올라와서 그를 모욕했다.
They offered him wine vinegar 그들은 포도식초를 그에게 주며
23:37 and said, "If you are the king of the Jews, save yourself."
말하기를 "만일 네가 유대인의 왕이라면 너 자신을 구하라."
23:38 There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
그의 위에 "이 사람은 유대인의 왕이다."라고 쓰여진 팻말이 있었다.
23:39 One of the criminals who hung there hurled insults at him:
거기에 매달린 범죄자들 중에 한 사람이 그에게 모욕의 말을 던졌다.
"Aren't you the Christ? Save yourself and us!" 네가 그리스도가 아니냐? 너 자신과 우리를 구원하라.
23:40 But the other criminal rebuked him. 그러나 다른 범죄자가 그를 꾸짖었다.
"Don't you fear God," he said, "since you are under the same sentence?
그는 "너는 하나님을 두려워하지 않느냐?"고 말했다. "너도 동일한 형벌을 선고를 받았지 않았느냐?"
