"Actually, the term 'Kimu' might seem unfamiliar, but it's a method to grasp the essence of energy in martial arts training. 'Kimu' literally stands for 'Ki', which means energy and 'Mu', which refers to martial arts.

In essence, it signifies the flow of energy within martial arts.
The stages to attain this energy flow are categorized into three main phases:

Firstly, Relax and Feel the Energy
Secondly, Focus and See it
Thirdly, Realize and Do it

To effectively practice these three stages,
it's important to instill the habit of maintaining 'Even Breathing' and 'Normal Mind' in every movement.

Of course, nothing is 100% perfect for humans.
That's because we are designed to continuously strive towards perfection, knowing that we can approach it.

Hence, in each and every moment, under every condition and circumstance,
one must do their best at that very instant.

Prioritizing nothing else except giving their utmost in the present moment.
That's what it means to be human.

Based on 'Even Breathing' and 'Normal Mind , expressing speech, thoughts, and actions in each moment,
while using Mindfulness and Awareness as tools within that moment,
is called 'Simshin Su Haeng (심신 수행)' which means 'mental and physical practice.'

The term "Practice" refers to human life itself, and it is extremely simple and clear.
The process might be difficult and challenging at times,
but if you don't fundamentally recognize the essence that guides practice correctly,
then throughout their life, no matter how much effort is exerted day and night,
it's akin to counting grains of sand in a desert with all their might.

When humans are born, they come into the world in a frenzy,
And when they die, they depart without much contemplation.
Profound or intricate matters can not become the truth;
They are merely creations formed over many centuries or thousands of years due to human desires and ignorance, becoming inherited accumulations or patched-together clutter.

As time goes by,
the perspective on the surroundings
becomes even more straightforward and clear.
This is because it emerges through the lived experiences.
Ultimately, one can sincerely contemplate the phrase
"Time is the best medicine" when a considerable amount of time has passed.

Therefore, people often say, 'You'll understand as you get older,'
but there's also the saying, "Realizing it when one's hair turns gray, but facing the end of life nonetheless."

I am confident that Kimu practice, revealed, and introduced for the first time in the world in the 21st century through Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu HK,
will undoubtedly contribute to making your martial arts training and life more abundant and fulfilling.
