파트너가 되면 엄청난 명예가 주어지고 또한 수입도 아주 짭잘할텐데...
단순히 TOPJD에서 우수한 성적을 거뒀다고 다 취직되는 것도 아닐텐데
도대체 스캐든압스 파트너 혹은 어소시에이트들은 어떻게 취직한 것일까요???
전문분야를 아무리 특화시켜서 죽어라 해도 ... 도대체 어떻게 취직한건지 알고 싶어요
스캐든압스 뿐 아니라 최고빅로펌들에 취직을 하려면 어떻게 해야 할까요?

Graduate from Yale Law ^^. Simple but very hard to achieve. (of course you don't have to be a Yale graduate but that was just the case for a friend of mine. Just giving you an example)

If you graduate from Yale or Harvard, you need to finish in top half. If you graduate from other top 10 law schools, within top 15-20%. For graduates of top 20-30 law schools, top 10%. The remaning top 50 and second-tier, top 5%. Third-tier and below, you need to graduate number 1 or 2.

i guess all of above is true indeed. But, getting to the top is one story, going down the hill is another. One of the major factor in becoming a partner, i think, is how much billing u can bring into the firm. What ultimately matters is $. Firms dont give crap about ur degree in long run.
