하지만 우리는 다람살라로 5월까지 걸어가서 만나는 게 제격이다.
His Holiness the Dalai Lama is coming to Bodh Gaya in early January.
But we are going to Dharmsala by May on foot.
I think it is proper for us to meet His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Dharmsala.
고타마 싯타르타께서 성불하신 후,
그 전에 수자타 마을의 아가씨로부터 우유죽을 공양받은 것을 감사하는 뜻을 전하고자 이 강을 건너 수자타마을로 가셨다고 한다.
Niranjana 강이다.
After Gotama Siddhartha achieved enlightenment, it is said he reveive a milk soup from a young lady from Suzata village. It is said he crossed this river and went to Sazata village to express his thanks.
일단 다리를 걸어서 건넜다.
I crossed the river by walking the bridge.
부처님이 걸어서 건넜음직한 강 맞은 편 길목이다.
This is road band on the other side of the river which Buddha might have crossed over.
안개 자욱한 가운데 나무들이 있다.
Trees are standing in the midst of thick fog.
거기를 걸어가면서 부처님이 걸으셨을법한 장면을 담아보았다.
While I walked the same road where Buddha might have walked,
I recorded the landscape by smartphone.
넓은 백사장이다.
Wide and white sandy plain.
강을 거꾸로 건너서 보드가야로 되돌아 왔다.
I crossed the river reversely and came back to Bodh Gaya.
이제부터는 Gaya로 걸어간다. 강변으로 길이 나 있다.
From now on, I am walking to Gaya. There is a road along the river.
오래된 힌두교 사원건축이다.
This is an old Hindu temple.

오늘은 2017년의 마지막 날이다. 황금같은 2017년이었다.
내일 새해아침은 일찍 Sarnath, Varanasi 로 간다.
전자는 8대성지의 하나요, 후자는 인도인의 성스러운 장소이다.
Today is the last day of 2017. For me, 2017 was a golden time.
Early in tomorrow morning I am going to Sarnath and Vananasi.
Sarnath is one of the 8 sacred places of Buddhism.
Varanasi is a holy place of Hinduism.
