아침일찍 어제 마친 곳으로 버스를 타고 갔다. 한시간 넘게 걸렸다.
그곳에서 따끈한 짜이를 마신다. 이곳도 이젠 제법 추운 날씨다. 가게에서 친해진 동네노인들.
Early in the morning, I went to the place where I ended yesterday's course.
I took me more than one hour. I drank a cup of hot chai.
Now It is getting cold in this area. I took a picture with the old men whom I met at the shop.
하라상이 오랫만에 걷는다.
Now, Mr. Hara joined in walking after a long while.
들에는 밀이 한창 자라고 있다.
Wheat is growing in the field.
오리들이 모이를 열심히 쪼으고 있다.
Ducks are busy with eating.
이 날은 짜이를 자주 마신다.
쉬는 동안 '말린 소똥'을 태우는 화덕에 손을 올렸다.
이 자연순환적 연료는 수분이 가득해서인지 연기를 피우면서 서서히 탄다. 겨울철 난방으로 쓸만하다.
Today, I drank chai several times.
During rest time, I put my hands over the fireplace which burns dry dung of cattle.
This recycing fuel is full of moisture.
It burns slowly. It is a very good fuel for winter.

겨울철은 건기라서 이렇게 들판에다가 불을 때워서 그 열기로 바퀴들을 돌리고 방아를 찧는다.

The winter is dry season in this region. They make fire in the field.
The heat turns the wheels and mill. This picture showes the buches of grains waiting for turn,
'안녕하세요'라는 우리말과 함께 하얀 승용차의 운전자가 창을 열고 인사를 한다.
이 분은 한국에서 1년간 연수하였다고 한다. 지금은 토목분야의 사업을 하고 있단다.

A driver of passenger car stopped and opened the window.
He said 'hello!' in Korean. He said he stayed in Korea for one year for vocational training.
He is engaged in construcion work in India.
I took a glad selfi with him.
걸으면서 인도의 순환적 삶의 양식을 생각해보았다.
일단 에너지순환이다. 겨울이 짧은 이곳은 연료에너지원이 중요한데 말린소똥이 역할을 한다.
흙벽돌 대나무 볏짚 등을 활용한 건축자재의 순환적 이용이다. 현대문명이 흉내낼 수 없는 장점이 있다.
While I was walking, I was thinking over circulative life style.
First of all, enery recycling is necessary.
SInce winter is short in this region, recycying fuel is very important.
They use dried dung as recycling energy.
They use recycling construction material such as soil bricks, bamboo, rice straw.
These materials have merits which advanced western civilization can't immitate.
물순환이다.
상수도를 끌어오지 않고 우물 대신 지하를 파서 수동펌프를 거의 모든 마을과 거리에 설치하였다.
수질의 수준이 어떤지는 모르겠지만 적어도 주민들이 그냥 마셔도 문제가 없을 정도이다.
토양층에 침투된 빗물이 적당히 정수되어서 펌프로 올려지는 것이다.
먹는 물은 거창한 시설 없이도 순환적 이용이 되고 있는 셈이다.
The second one is water recycling.
Indian villagers are not using tap water.
They dig well, and supply groundwater to most villages and streets by manual pump.
I am not sure of water quality.
But I am certain the water quality would be good enough for drinking.
The rainwater goes though the soil layers and are purified.
They use manual pump to draw groundwater.
Drinking water is supplied without complicated system and various facilities.
인도의 순환적 생활양식은 지구촌의 유력한 모델의 하나다.
I think Indian mode of life is one of the alternative recycling life models in Earth village.
어느 들판에서 고목나무를 패서 땔감을 만들고 있는 청년.
연노한 가족들이 함께 지켜보고 있는 모습이 인상적이다.
I saw a youth who cut an old tree and makes firewood.
It was impressive to see the family who were looking at the youth.
