[247] Pilgrims of Monk

Gaya Station ~ C point

20km

하루 쉰 후 불교 8대성지의 하나인 Rajgir로 출발.

After one day's rest, I started to Rajgir, one of the 8 sacred places of Buddhism.

아침 일찍 7시반, Gaya 시내가 아직 조용하다.

It was 7:30, early in the morning.  The Gaya city was quiet yet.    

시장에서 만난 아이들.

We met children at the market. 

인도는 겨울이 제철 밭농사다.

In India, people grow crops even in winter. 

공립학교 앞을 지나는데

I was passing by public school.

단정한 교복을 입은 학생들과 함께

I took a picture with studens with tidy uniform.

불교 학교도 있다.

There was a placard advertizing Buddha Open School. 

순례하는 스님들을 만나다.

I met Monks who are going pilgrimage. 

중국에서 왔다고 하는데, 아마도 티벳쪽 사람들 같다.

They said, "We are from China."   But I guess they are from Tibet. 

우리와는 반대로 Rajgir에서 Bodh Gaya로 진행중이다.

They were walking from Rajgir to Bodh Gaya, the opposite direction of us. 

순례하시는 스님들의 모습이 자연스럽게 보인다.
태국에서 본 걸으시는 부처님의 모습이 연상된다.

The apperances of pilgrim monks looked very natural. 

They reminded me of the statue of Walking Buddha which I saw at Thailand. 

마을길로 접어들었다.

I entered village road. 

마침 물이 떨어져서 지하수 관정이 보이길래 청하여 물을 넣어두었다.
이런 장면은 하라상이 놓치지 않는다.

I ran out of drinking water.  Just in time, I found a tube well of groundwater.

I asked for water.  The woman gave me water.   

Mr. Hara did not miss a picture of that moment.

휠체어를 타고 움직이는 복지시설의 사람들과 함께

We took a picture with the workers of welfare facility. 

순례길의 풍경을 동영상으로 담아 보았다.

I recorded surrounding landscape by video.  

[무심거사]

사진을 자세히 보면 인도의 농촌지역 어린이들이 아직도 맨발이 있습니다. 매우 충격적입니다.

어른들도 맨발이 많아요.
더운 기후 덕이기도 하지만 하층계급은 대체로 맨발인듯 합니다~
