Los Angeles finished a disappointing 2-4 homestand with a 6-5 loss to the New York Mets on Sunday.
LF Gary Sheffield had two hits and is 23-for-53 (.434) in his last 13 games.
RF Shawn Green hit his 37th home run off Mets starter Steve Trachsel in the first inning. Green has 17 homers since the All-Star break.
RHP Chan Ho Park allowed four runs -- three earned -- and seven hits in just five innings. It was the second time in three starts that Park has failed to pitch into the sixth inning.
Manager Jim Tracy said: "Chan Ho wasn't very good today and he wasn't very good from the first pitch of the game."
C Chad Kreuter was also critical of Park. Kreuter said: "I'm not seeing a tenaciousness in his character. It hurt us today not to take advantage with our No. 1 guy against their No. 3 guy."
The Dodgers now embark on a seven-game road trip with three games in Florida and four in Atlanta.
CF Marquis Grissom said: "The trip will bring out the best in us. This is what it's all about."
