하라상이 감기가 완치되지 않고 있다. 그는 완쾌될 때까지 며칠 쉬기로 했다.
필자는, 자식에게 건강체질을 물려주신 부모님께 새삼 감사드린다.
Mr. Hara has not recovered from cough yet. He decided to take rest a few more days.
I thank my parents who inherited me good health.
오늘 코스는 Gaya에서 Rajgir로 가는 길목이다.
부처님도 이 길을 걸었으리라고 짐작되는 것이,
이 길은 산줄기를 따라 작은 마을들을 연결하고 있고 최단거리로 두 지역을 연결하고 있기 때문이다.
Today's course is a turning of road which runs from Gaya to Rajgir.
I guess Buddha walked this road.
Because this road connects small villages located along mountain range,
and this is the shortest way between two regions.
출발시에는 안개가 끼었다.
It was foggy when I started.
불교계의 순례행사를 안내하는 홍보물도 보인다.
I saw a signboard which advertized event of Buddist pilgrimage.
벽돌이름이 재미있다.
Interestingly, the name of bricks was KBC.
보리수나무 인듯.
It seems to be pipal tree.
전기가 들어오지 않는 마을이다.
휴대폰 충전을 태양광패널로 하고 있다.
Electricity is not supplied in this village.
They recharge cellular phone battery by solar panel.
지붕위에도 달렸다. 요즘 지구촌의 한 모습이다.
There is solar panel on rooftop.
This is the appearance of Earth village, these days.
여기서부터는 전봇대가 보인다.
From this point, I could see electric pole.
이 길과 나란히 줄지어 있는 산맥.
This road goes parallel with mountain range.
이 길은 순례길로 안성맞춤이다.
인도의 풍광을 만끽하면서 명상에 잠기기에 그만이다.
This road is very proper for pilgrims.
I can enjoy Indian landscapes and submerge in meditation as well.
오늘의 목적지에 도착한 후 숙소로 가는 버스를 기다리면서,
노점음식집에서 짜이(우유에 향신료를 첨가한 인도서민의 차)를 주문했다.
After arriving at destination, I waited for the bus going to today's lodging.
At street vendor, I ordered a cup of chai which is a mixture of milk and spice.
Chai is very polular tea in India.
끓이기 직전 '말린 소똥'의 위력을 보았다.
Right before boiling tea, I could witness the power of dried cattle dung.
아주 제대로 타고 있다.
The flame was very strong.
내일은 본격적인 순례길을 걷는다.
Tomorrow, I will walk orthodox pilgrim road.
